automatic transmission and a dodge cummins
Can anybody tell me how bad or good the automatic transmission is with the Dodge Cummins.

- Really bad, I carry a spare in the bed.
- It's really going to depend on what year it is and if it's a new one, it will also depend on what HP rating you get. The newest trans are every bit as good or better than the competition.
- Unless the filter falls off like happened to my 2010, then it wont go anywhere.
- 47RE - Fine with stock power
48RE - Better than 47RE. Ok with mild tunes
68RFE - Better than the 48RE. Higher ouput engine, can also handle mild tunes - Do you have more details about the age, size and primary usage?
