Awning vinyl repair

honestly the idea of doing this myself kind of freaks me out... a local place quoted me $350. i'm taking it down on wednesday. i figured this was more like an $800 gig..

$120 on EBay. We bought the fabric from eBay seller in Dec. and just replaced the fabric this last weekend. Piece of cake. Good luck, John
Just checked seller was "shadeproinc" and he has some Gray ones for $99 bucks right now. Just go to eBay and search rv awning fabric.

Check on Ebay. depending on the length shouldn't be much over one fifty with shipping.

Backed my TT into the garage and ripped the awning fabric. Past me to repair it now, but our RV repair facility replaced it, insurance paid $180, and I paid the other $420.

The UV rays of the sun also made brittle and cracked my long vinyl awning. I replaced it with tweed fabric and added Alumaguard to protect it from UV and trees branches in the future, and also replaced my slide topper for total of $750.00.

I just replaced my awning fabric. I bought the 20' Carefree replacement on Amazon for 214.00 + 10.00 s/h. It was a breeze to put on. Really glad I did it myself. Well, my wife helped me. I thought it would be a 3 or 4 man job, but it was really quite simple. Now, I love seeing my new awning.

I also removed my spring loaded portion of mine and replaced it with the manual type. I like it much better.

the mech itself is fine its the vinyl that would need to be replaced then.

how much can i expect that to set me back?
