Awning Won't Roll Down

Will the lever operate and feel like it has a snap over center when it does… It is a simple cam and cog design… there have been post where the lever turned on the shaft…

Ours has this problem occasionally and lifting the awning arm will allow it to come loose. It's hard to do with one person...lifting and pulling at the same time.

When we had a manual awning sometimes the awning would lock up because I didn't push up (raise) on the awning rail before I tried to roll it out.
When you roll up a manual awning you must push up to lock it. Then when you want to roll it out you must unlock it (push up on the rail).

Awning arms unlocked. I yanked really hard. I can't seem to find any exposed mechanism ..

Make sure you unlocked the arms and give it a good yank. One side of mine does not like to release without it.
