The scoop is a start. Where you position your TT tires before you back is the most important. Yes, drivers side approach and when there's rt. front fender considerations, favor the left side. Pull beyond the site and stop the TT tires few ft. beyond the obstacle you have to clear (curb, tree, other RV). Cut the wheels hard right, then correct once you get the Tow/TT arced (in a left hand turn). Can't beat another person watching the back.
