It is highly dependent on your toad's suspension geometry. As has been said before the caster can cause it to go to full lock very quickly. Pushing or rolling downhill makes no difference (if your tow bar is level). If the toad is going to go to full lock it will. I have moved short distances backwards but pretty quick mine slams over.
Some toads will sometimes even slam to full lock going forward (Smart cars).
Since I have been quoted, I will comment again. I DO NO NOT think it is possible to back up a toad very far and I especially think it is impossible to back up a toad around a corner. CANNOT HAPPEN!!
