If that were the case how could the OP even move it off the lot? He did not fully explain what or how much damage there might be or what the dealer has done to fix it. So far there is only one side of the story thus my skeptism.
What else could they say. They didn't say they moved it off the lot. When they said the electrical was damaged from welding, there isn't much more to say.
