This is very strange. Wouldn't a new 10 month old RV be under warranty? Even if the dealer botched the install they should be held responsible to get the rig repaired. Part of this story is missing. I know this is a thread killer but if it was me in these stated circumstances, I'd lawyer up rather than try to extract a pound of flesh in a public forum. Maybe prior to that, I'd contact the manufacturer to get my satisfaction.
