A a generator and solar setup would be wonderful, but might be a bit more than we can handle this week.
I don't see a way to store a generator safely on the exterior in an urban area (when we are not near the vehicle). There is no space INSIDE, either, for it or for portable solar. (Either would require a major rethinking of the interior space.) I guess a roof-mounted solar setup could be padlocked on...
Are solar setups off-the-shelf, or do we have to spec it out ourselves, wire it up, etc.? Sounds like more than a weekend project?
