I agree and I could kick myself for giving my extra one away. My #1 son got one from me when I gave him the Coleman white gas stove we bought right after he was born 46 years ago and he still uses it year round. I did convert it to propane tho and they work even better.

Its just easier to cook and prepare on the new table and eat off the picnic table. Haven`t used it yet. just set it up in the living room lol

Lots of the FS CG's don't have the picnic table all that close to where you park an RV. I have often though about using the picnic table, and did all the time tent camping. I found that on rainy type days (You know Oregon sunshine:)) it's nicer to have the awning out and set up under it. As an example where we're going this weekend the picnic table and fire pit are about 20+' from the RV. Makes for too many trips when cooking. We don't pack a canopy to set over the picnic table, so we're relegated to setting up by the RV. Plus if you have a quick disconnect you stuck by the RV. I have to agree on not having to pack anything when using the picnic table. Less packing is always good.

We camp mostly in State Parks (OR). All have picnic tables and we just move it to where we need it.
Especially during those rare times when it rains here in the NW...:)

Now that I have one, Sams and WalMart carry them. I got one several years ago for Christmas. At that time, Camping World was the only place that had a table and grill rack built like that. My table is about 3 feet wide, not counting grill part. I use it regularly. It comes in handy when there several of us, so we can have table for eating, or if it is raining to get under awning. I use mine for my grill or my coleman stove both. I used it and my Weber Q a week ago to cook hot dogs for Cub Scouts school's out/final meeting party. Made it easy to set up and be organized cooking.

I saw one similar at my local Wally World last week.

I've got a folding 6' x 3' table that is very similar, without the rack part. The Weber Q100 grill goes on half, the two burner coleman stove goes on the other half and I have room between them to put tongs, spoons and spatula's.

Sit's right under the side of the awning nearest the front of the camper which makes it nice to hook a supply line to the two 20lb propane tanks on the nose along with preventing anyone from walking that way and hitting their head on the awning support arm. Covered if it's raining or just hot and needing shade.

I use one of those roll up aluminum tables OR my camp kitchen (when traveling heavy and setting up for a time).

I am going to figure out a table that rigs to the side of the RV near an externa bin for traveling light.
