Not just bears, and not just food.
I saw a deer go after a bottle of Lemon Fresh Joy dishwashing soap.
Another thing we were very vigilant about at Big Bend NP was making sure people did not leave open water out in their campsite. We didn't want any animals coming into the campground for water. The Chisos Basin CG where we hosted has no standing water except for a couple hours after a thunderstorm. The park maintains two watering holes near the waste treatment station just for animal watering holes - to keep them away from the people areas.
