In case you don't have enough good suggestions above here is another mediocre one.
Get a LARGE pipe wrench, slide it up over the bent hanger and tighten the jaws as tight as possible. You will have more leverage than you would with a crescent wrench. Use your choice of muscle and heat, as described above.
