Bent spring hanger - how to fix?
Is this fixable with hand tools? It was like this when i got it.

As I said, you will have a secondary bend if the jaws aren't deep enough. Yes, it's much better now.
Now get a can of Fluid Film and spray the springs to lubricate and stop all that rust.
