The new metal silver colored 5/8 hose works very good. I bought the 50 foot version for use on washing the windshield and other general purpose chores. It works great. Have had it for a couple years.

I use this to rinse my black tank, and to do general rinsing of beach stuff, wheels, etc...
It coils up and does not take much space... It is lightweight and seems to be durable
