- Mel_B_ExplorerAt the tire shop! What you want me to come mount your tires to!!! Just kidding, This should be a place where people of all levels should be able to come and get, give or just read advice and opinions without having his post shoved down his throat. Anyway times 2 on the champion 3400 watt inverter. I called a dealer and told him I would like the remote start 3400 with the dual fual option. They don't make it he said, but if I bought the 3400 with remote start he would install a 3 way fuel option kit for $145 and free labor. So it will run on gasoline, propane or natural gas. I'm on it, all that for half the cost of a red 2000. I put a link to this on another post here about the champion 3400 watt inverter.
Mel - WTP-GCExplorerIn less time that it took to read 3 pages of arguments and nastiness...
I did a google search that yielded the prices from more than 100 online retailers. But then again, are we looking for a 2000 or a 2000i or a 2000iA or maybe now would be a good time recommend a Champion.
Where's the best place to buy tires these days? - High_Sierra_TraExplorerI shopped around on the web, but decided against it. Reason being, I knew when I buy from a local store, even though I am spending a tad more, (in this case I got it cheaper) the dealer will set it up and run it for you before you walk out with it. Online purchase shows up in a box and you have to assemble/start and hope it all works. food for thought
- Mel_B_ExplorerI don't want to grow up and be a grumpy old man. What are these forums for but to get information. Do you think every post on here was researched first for hours and then asked for help here. I'm sorry but if you can't come here and ask a question without some jerk bashing you, then whats the sense in even asking a question. So many times I read what seems like a "STRANGE" question I just move on why spend time bad mouthing the guy? He's just trying get some advice
- tuna_fisherExplorerGot mine at Wise Sales about 10 years ago. Best deal at the time.

Wise Sales used to be a popular place people got Hondas online. But from what I read, Wise lost their deal with Honda because they were selling them too low: below Hondas MAP pricing.
Most places sell them all about the same. If you find one of those "$50 off" coupons at Northern Tool or something like that, it would help. But since pricing is so similar anywhere on Hondas, I bought mine local in the unlikely event one of them needed service work.
You can sell below MAP. Just not advertise that price in print or on the internet. One way some online retailers get around that is to have the disclaimer add product to cart to view our price or something similar. - drsteveExplorerCould the OP Google it? Sure. But consider that Google results for shopping will have large online retailers like Amazon at the top more often than not. It's entirely likely that someone on here may know of a smaller seller somewhere that has a good deal on a particular item, or a short term sale, or a closeout, etc. That kind of stuff seldom if ever will pop up in Google results.

I bought my Honda 2000 from Wise a few years ago and was going to suggest them. Best deal at the time. - 1968mooneyExplorerExactly why I would never come to this forum and ask for advise. A few "smart a****" try to spoil it for everybody. :M
