I saw one at Lowes that was WAY bigger than any of the RV style offerings. $99.00 if I remember right. I have a Little Red Campfire or I would bought it. Mine is a little small and looks kind of silly until it gets dark outside, then you don't notice the small size so much. No smoke, no smell. I like it.

We bought one of these due to the fire bans we get all the time. Wouldn't you know it, this year we had no bans. We tried it the last night just to see and I have to tell you, it's pretty nice. We put into the stone fire ring and on high looks like our normal fire. From a distance you can't tell it's not wood. It doesn't radiate as much heat in the beginning but after a while the stones start to glow red and you feel it more.
I did quite a bit of looking around and watching you tube videos of the various propane camp fires before buying. The Lil red camp fire was so small and the big red wasn't out yet. We are not into Bonfires but if you are, the Campfire in a can looks like it can be turned up much higher than the others. It does cost more and remember, the higher the flame, the faster you burn the gas.
