Best Toad?
At the risk of starting a fist fight, and price point not being a issue. Is the Jeep Wrangler a good choice for towing, since transfer cases are few and far between these days?

The Wrangler is an excellent toad, but there are dozens of other excellent toads as well. There is no shortage of 4x4 with transfer cases that allow 4 down towing. There are also many other types of vehicles approved for 4 down towing.
The best toad is the one that fits your preferences & needs for using the vehicle when its not behind the motorhome. If you need a vehicle to transport a wife, 2 kids and a dog, then the Wrangler may not be the best choice. or if your campground plans usually involve taking several couples to the local restaurant, a Wrangler may not work.
Although I have a Wrangler as my backup toad, I prefer a pickup as my primary toad for the extra bulk hauling space in the bed.
Meeting the 4 down towing requirements is easy these days. The question is how will you use the vehicle after its unhooked.
