A personal fan, blowing directly on YOU will keep most of the pests away. For mosquitos, they hate the smell of coconut, so if you can get a lotion containing a lot of coconut oil, like the old tanning lotion from the beach days, they'll leave you alone.
Check WalMart for free standing screen rooms. Many times they will have them on sale. Ours was less than $40 on sale. These rooms will fit over your site picnic table or you can put a couple sling chairs in them....Dennis
