Best way to keep rv warm at night

Hi all, nights been getting cold lately and my rv gets chilly fast. I got a small heater but it dont always keep up. Wondering what others do to stay warm without running the furnace all night. Any tips or tricks that work good for you?

  • Heat pump or furnace. That's why RVs are equipped with them.

  • I run the furnace; that’s why RV’s have a furnace in them.
But that leads me to ask, why don’t you want to run the furnace?

Like many of these new “visitors” with innocuous questions,  I’ll hazard either A. Furnace doesn’t work. Or B.  The cost of LP is somehow prohibitive. Or C. Spam.
The rest of the conclusions can likely be drawn from there. As well as the lack of interaction from the person.
The easy / cheap solution is chilly isn’t COLD and blankets and sleeping bags and sweat pants don’t generate recurring costs.
But there’s probably more to the story.
Personally, I /we use a camper for camping. When it’s “chilly” bundle up and enjoy a great nights sleep. And use the furnace to take the chill off in the morning.
When it’s cold run the furnace to keep things from freezing.
