Yup, they tried the same thing with my trailer tires. Even followed me to the parking lot after I fueled up to show me, but then I had "dirt" on the tires and it was "hard to see". Funny thing is 6000 miles later they don't even look that bad. Had another about 100 miles east of there on the return trip where they told me they could hear my trailer brakes dragging and when I touched the wheel in front of them and told them it wasn't hot, they found something else to do. I knew as I had checked them about 5 min before they showed up. One thing I always try to do is when I put the truck in park, I do a walk around and check each tire and wheel for temp and then go back and turn off the truck and do what ever I stopped for. It helps when dealing with people like Goober
