Having ridden bikes since childhood I wanted to continue in retirement, and get the benefits from it, but as I got older I saw that one of the downfalls (pun intended) was just that.
Falling off was not good for the old bones and I don't heal up as quickly as in my motorcycling and ATV riding days. Besides that, falls are quite often the cause of fatal accidents in older people.
I want to have a long and healthy retirement.
So I opted for a trike but found that a recumbent was the way to go, easier on the butt and you can stop and just set there. I take long rides when camping and at home and the grandkids cant outrun me...
I got one of THESE and it is made in the USA
