Yes, absolutely I must have an address in order to function in our society as you described. Yes, I have bank accounts, credit cards, vehicle registration, driver's license, insurance, etc.
But I really don't "want" an address - I'm simply forced to have one. But given an address, I don't want to receive any mail - period.
