Some fans have a blow out or blow in switch.
In the bathroom the fan is supposed to exhaust only. Other fans in RV can blow either way.
I'm guessing is so that you don't suck in the air from the black tank vent??

the worst smell I ever had was when I had a fantastic type fan in the bathroom, had it running on high and flushed the toilet. the black tank vented thru the bathroom.
