I personally would not prefer the stainless version over the cast iron. As someone who works with metals on a near-daily basis, that's my opinion. The cast iron will get surface rust, but that can always be cleaned. The stainless will get pitted rust, which is not easily cleaned. And whatever grade stainless they're offering will surely not be a high-quality metal.
