I also do both...I set the compressor to 50 , close off the Hot Water heater and open each faucet one at a time... I then do the black tank flush...
I have already picked up my RV antifreeze at $3.00 a gallon.... I then add the pink stuff...for the $6.00 total , it is cheap insurance over and above the air only way... the balance gets dropped into each faucet trap and the toilet so the seal does not dry up..
