I have noticed that all the local RV dealers use anti-freeze. I wonder why they don't use air. If it was truly effective you'd think they could save quite a bit in just the cost of the anti-freeze to do every unit on the lot.
It's pretty easy to carry a gallon or two of anti-freeze waaaaay across the yard to the RV. They can winterize as many RV's as they have tech's to do it, simultaneously.
An air hose big enough to counter the losses on a long run across the yard, plus a compressor big enough to feed multiple hoses for multiple techs working at the same time? Spendy. Very spendy.
Or the extra time (read: money) to drag each unit into the shop where it's near the compressor? Still spendy.
Besides, they're not going to taste that nasty stuff in THIER water system next spring, the owner will, so what do they care?
