We in middle GA area so we do winterize since we occasionally will get a few nights straight below freezing with a high in 40's during day. but it is like we are in the extreme cold areas.
If we have plans to camp soon after a freeze warning, I'll use an electric space heater, set furnace thermostat to lowest setting in case power goes out and leave water heater on.
If I need to winterize, I just blow lines out and drain water heater/FW tank. When blowing out lines, I set regulator to around 45psi and run air through my RV water regulator. Using some plumbing and air fittings, I made an adapter that screws onto the regulator and has an air quick release. With air connected, I'll go around inside MH opening/closing the faucets and toilet flush. I've found if I open/close each faucet/low point drain for about 15 seconds each the air pushes more water out each time. I'll also cycle the pump with no water in FW tank a few times. I leave all faucets open and disconnect air.
