It's pretty easy to carry a gallon or two of anti-freeze waaaaay across the yard to the RV. They can winterize as many RV's as they have tech's to do it, simultaneously.
An air hose big enough to counter the losses on a long run across the yard, plus a compressor big enough to feed multiple hoses for multiple techs working at the same time? Spendy. Very spendy.
Or the extra time (read: money) to drag each unit into the shop where it's near the compressor? Still spendy.
Besides, they're not going to taste that nasty stuff in THIER water system next spring, the owner will, so what do they care?
good points I hadn't thought of although I don't consider it nasty and I've never had any taste don't see why there would be if it's done correctly.
Not so much nasty taste, just an after taste! That and I don't need to run gallons of water through the system to flush out the pink stuff.
