Bought a gallon of pink RV antifreeze, yesterday, at Menards--$2.25 for Splash brand.
I've got an advantage over most RV'ers in the North. My plumbing system is the old air pressure/water system. I have a Schrader valve on the fill cap. Attach compressor hose and let the steel tank fill up, open drains and toilet one at a time and I'm done. The three traps and the toilet get a pint of the pink and no worries until next year.
When I replumbed the supply lines, I installed them all inside the trailer above the floor. I don't have any curves or bells where water can accumulate. If a user had the supply lines hung loosely under the floor, there may be a spot or two where water could fill the lines. In that case some pink in the supply lines makes a lot of sense.
