Looks to me like simply an up close picture to show the various parts of the hitch and how it looks hooked up. They talk about the "spring" bars and show them "sprung', the "rotating latches" for the chains, the "pre -adjusted" hitch head etc.
Nowhere does it say that that picture is a representation of how a hitch should be set up ready for towing. It is simply an advertising photo in my opinion, and nothing more. Barney
