Blue Ox Sway Bars

Question

We own a 26 foot Heartland Northtrail travel trailer. We purchased the Blue Ox weight distribution and sway bars for towing. We keep sheering off the pin that holds the bars in. Were new to Rving. I take the bars off when we make tight turns or back into a space. Blue Ox has been great in replacing the parts. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

not blue ox, but have had the same issue on my TT.

Have broken clips, the ball off the mount and trashed a bar itself... What is funny is I really don't have much sway as I have plenty of tongue weight and never know it till I see it..

I finally decided to ditch friction sway and have a dual cam setup to install on my TT this summer..
