I also had a problem with a baseplate that I ordered from blueox.com. If thats the same web site you ordered from or by phone, be aware that is not the Blue Ox manufacturing web site. It's an online distributor/vendor. The Blue Ox site does not sell, only lists products and directs you to an onlind distributor.
If you call Dillon Freeese at 1-800-228-9289 I believe he will take care of it. Thats the original Blue Ox site. He told me that they have had several problems with the online vendor, and are trying to get them in line. I did, and got a call in a few hours from the online vendor stating my baseplate would be shipped out Monday.
