We were some of the first Boondockers members. We have used it many times and all have been good experiences over the years. One big advantage is that often when campgrounds are full, or not in the area you want you stop, a boondockers site might serve your needs. This has worked well for us when we travel and return from Snowbirding and a lot of campgrounds are not open for the season.
How well it works for you depends on where you are going. Also, having a smaller size RV is advantageous.
