We have stopped at the local Forest Service and asked about new spots .
We tow a 21T that is about 24 foot OAL pulled by a regular 4wd diesel pickup .
Our boondock spots are different than what the pickup campers can use .
We mostly camp along a stream or lake and often the Elk hunters already have a path worn from the gravel road .
I find that no matter where we are that during the day a half dozen rigs will go by on a weekend , but not more.
It's not like it is a freeway , after all .
