I have never bought an extended warrantee on anything and never will.
With that being said, I don't know why you would think that the warrantee company would pay for this. You've only had it two weeks. With your thinking I should wait until I damage my car and then get it insured and having the insurance company pay for it.
Certainly not picking at you, I would certainly be ticked off to, but not at the warrantee company.
And I would cancel it and get a refund.
