I just realized that you are talking trade-in. If I were you, I'd clean my RV to the nines and take lots of pictures and put it up on Craigslist. You will get more money selling it yourself than a trade-in to a dealer. Describe the RV accurately and don't hide any warts like high mileage or damage. Also price it reasonably and it will sell. Always put your price in the ad and answer the questions most people will ask you when they talk to you. That way you only get calls from people who have qualified themselves as wanting your RV...and maybe a scammer or 2 as it is CL. Also remember that NADA is RETAIL pricing and you are not retail. Your price selling to a private party will be less than low retail (or close)but more than trading it in at a dealer.
There is nothing more aggravating than wasting time with people who want something other than what you have or can't afford your price. be realistic and it will sell quickly. They also get aggravated wasting time to find out that the RV isn't what they wanted. I have used this method of selling my used vehicles over the last 40+ years and I have always sold my vehicle quickly, at my desired price, and to the first person who actually came out and looked at it.
