Brand with best quality control?

Our auto manufacturers turned out cars that always had to go back to the dealer at least one time. This was back in the 50s. Japanese auto companies started importing much better made autos and they started selling. US Manufacturers were forced to step up their quality a lot. Maybe that is what the RV manufacturers need to happen to improve their quality.

I've heard that Airstream is very good..seem to last long and keep its value also

Northern lite TC is also very well built

We've had 4 Jayco's, a pop up, 2 travel trailers, now class A. Jayco seems to be consistent with its quality. Not saying best, but certainly not the worst. Not had any horror stories, but as depressing as it is, the bar is NOT very high when it comes to quality in any RV.
We like so many others on this forum have learned to improve and maintain our units. Roofs and under carriages have been solid so that helps, but fit and finish is often not stellar.

northstar campers.last season,a little over 100 camping days,all backwoods,off and on the truck at least 6 times.may thru october.deficiencies=0,problems=0,breakages= 1 broken marker light that i broke with a wash brush.beyond impressed,it got used hard.

Oh how I wish I could be a newbie once again, believing the words "quality" and "recreational vehicle" could actually be used in the same sentence! :W Time reveals all though and eventually pretty well everyone discovers such is not the case but rather that it's very often more a matter of luck than anything else that determines the "quality" of your RV ownership experience. :R

I ditto this. But in a addition we looked at Outdoor RV, Jayco and Airstream.

For us both times we went looking we ended up with Northwood. We feel it is best for boon-docking with its build for off road frame, and being the only ground up built for 4 seasons in the TT models.

I also agree. Although Northwood's quality control isn't what it used to be. Still we ended up ordering a 2016 Northwood Arctic Fox.

Your going to add 10k and a 1000pds to most similar floor plans to a keystone or Forrest River product. I really like who they are built and the material they use!

WOW! That's asking for a lot.

ALL brands have issues. No one makes a perfect RV.
ALL brands have some lemons.

Your original question is like asking what stare is the best or which car is the best.

Every brand have their fans and their haters.
