Breakaway switch wire for GMC Terrain
Hello. New to the forum and dinghy towing. Spent the weekend installing a baseplate and wiring the lights for my 2015 Terrain. Last step is the supplemental braking system. I've been leaning towards the RVibrake2 because it seemed really simple to install and operate and I haven't been able to find any horror stories involving it.
My question is, for those that have installed things into their Terrain, where did you run the wiring through the firewall? In my case, it's just the 1 wire for the breakaway switch but any experience you have would help.
I've found a big grommet under the dash but the engine bay is so crazy crowded (V6/AWD) that I can't seem to get my bearings on the other side. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
