Bringing a generator with to a FHU campground?

I was thinking about this. I have a small 2200W generator that will do everything I need but run the A/C. I know some campgrounds lose power and was wondering if anyone carries it along as back up jus...

I always take mine, and was glad I did last year. I had a leaking valve stem on a trailer tire. I fired up the generator and pancake compressor a couple of times and was able to keep it sufficiently aired up until I could get to a tire store.
