Bringing a generator with to a FHU campground?

I was thinking about this. I have a small 2200W generator that will do everything I need but run the A/C. I know some campgrounds lose power and was wondering if anyone carries it along as back up jus...

if I am at a full hookup rv park, or a campground with hookups, I would NOT appreciate someone running a generator. RV parks are usually quiet except for a little traffic depending on where it is. We boondock 99% of the time, but once in a while it's nice to overnight at a fullhookup place, and enjoy not hearing running engines with no muffler :p
