In addition, I would say make sure there is plenty of side to side room between sites.
As some said, big trees can be a nuisance. But it's nice to have some moderate sizes around to soften the landscape. Some shrubbery and a few flowerbeds are good, too. Just put them in places that don't restrict traffic, so they won't get run over.
One thing that wasn't mentioned--a dog walk area. Big trees are OK there. Put out plenty of stations with disposal bags and covered trash cans.
