Another consideration; having a place to park utility and flatbed trailers (car haulers, etc.) For instance, we go to craft shows occasionally, with a Dodge 2500 towing a 14 foot cargo trailer. Sometimes we take the motorhome, sometimes we stay in a cabin. Having a place for the truck and trailer is great.
You say there is a hospital nearby. I wonder how many "Travelers" they have? A Traveling Nurse will usually want a space for 13 weeks minimum, renewable for another 13 weeks. Of course, Nurses are not the only "Travelers". There are many other medical professionals who get such contracts. Back in spaces are usually just fine for those folks. It might be a good idea to contact the hospital and let them know what you have available once you get established. They are always looking for places to house their Travelers. Many of them have no idea regarding available RV sites! At least, we found that to be true when we were Traveling. during the interview process we would ask about nearby RV sites, and the usual response was "A what?"
Don't count on Military RVers. There is quite likely a campground on or near the base you will have to compete with. If so, let the Camp administration know where you are, and give them a discount on spaces for their overflow, if they need space. Of course, such military campgrounds are restricted to Active Duty, Retirees, Drilling Reservists, etc. Civilian relatives will need a place to stay.
