When we overnight, between destinations, we look for a place not too far from the highway we are traveling. We often drive at least 10 hours each day to get to our destination, and I don't want to spend another 1/2 hour to get to our overnight spot. We want a level spot, or near level spot not muddy, so I don't have to spend time leveling the rig, and an electric hookup. For an overnight, we generally don't hookup water, sewer, or cable TV. I'm tired, and I just want to eat dinner, relax, and check the weather and the drive for the next day via the campground Wifi. The next morning, we want to takes showers in CLEAN stalls, and well equipped and CLEAN bathroom facilities. After showers, unplug electric and go. Now, our requirements for a destination park are different, but the OP stated that they would likely cater to overnighters. Good Luck.
