Do they have (NO PROPANE) warning signs that provide enough time to avoid those tunnels? Or do I need to investigate the location of those restricted tunnels prior to my trip?
I highly suggest preplanning your route(s) when traveling in areas where there might be propane restrictions. When we went down the east coast a couple times, I posted in these forums for suggested routes and tips and had very smooth trips because I just avoided tunnels, bridges and routes where there may have been propane issues.
I was asked once if my propane was turned off by a toll taker when we were crossing one bridge (or it might have been a tunnel), I forget which now. I did have it off.
