I am not adverse to financing. But in your scenario I would wait and save for the purchase in six years. 1. your rig will be six years newer when you retire, 2. sounds like you would get limited use or enjoyment prior to your retirement, 3. you may change your mind in six years. These are the main reasons I would wait.
