You made the right decision ... for several reasons that have been mentioned.
Here's three reasons that may not have been mentioned:
1) You might get better engineering technology in an RV by buying later.
2) You might get better construction qualiy in an RV by buying later.
3) You might need some feature in an RV a few years from now that you may not need now.
