Invoice minus incentives is what you will get at DaveSmith typically. If at year end same deal but they will go down from there as they did when I bought my 11 HO LongHorn Dually from them.
GM's are my second choice in a HD Diesel truck. But the fact is with RAM you get SAE ratings with a true Medium Duty Cummins engine and a true Medium Duty transmission in the Aisin.
You mention how quiet the GM is and it may be I don't know but I can tell you when I am in 4th gear at well over 2,000 rpm's pulling a 6% grade at 55 the wife and I can carry on a normal conversation.
The two stage exhaust brake is awesome. I can set my cruise control at 55 select 4th gear and safely descend a 6% grade with confidence with a combined weight of 32K+.
With RAM you will get the very dependable CP3 injection pump and with GM the CP4 that has had issues but GM has been good about replacing under warranty unlike the third truck option. But exceed 100K and you are on your own, same with RAM but with a injection pump that is more reliable.
Another RAM BIG plus is the factory hitch puck system with in bed trailer plug. With GM you would need to add a hitch attachment system.
Compare the RAM SAE weight ratings to GM the RAM's are capable of towing and carrying a lot. I would suggest the rear air ride from RAM that is a great feature I really like mine.
