For my money the RAM is just built so much stronger hand heavier and you can see it in it's stance and underneath.
The Ram 3500 SRW truck offers the Aisin medium duty tranny whereas the 2500 doesn't. The 3500 SRW also offers more CCC than the 2500, comparing like vehicles.
I'd go 3500 SRW in case OP were too go to a heavier TT or 5er in the future.
