So buying another new truck and was hardcore headed for the Ram but then started looking at the Chevy as well. I'm looking at Ram 2500 Laramie or Big Horn diesel, the 3500 srw with the aisin tranny ...

The Ford 6.7 scorpion and 6r140 torqueshift have proven to be hugely reliable. Not sure why it was discredited so soon. Good luck with any dpf equipped vehicle.
