Not all used RVs have seen enough use to shake out all the warranted items, so there could be all sorts of hidden issues. Recalls, yes, perhaps.
Do you know how often the used one was actually used? I had a used trailer a few years back that had an awning recall before it left our driveway. Shortly thereafter we sold it, and hadn't had a chance to use it at all. The buyer didn't seem concerned, and the unit was in pristine condition.
Just to throw another variable into a complex decision.
