I think you are letting the MSRP confuse the issue what are the prices on the 2 units you are comparing. Nothing else matters.
If the units are totally equal and you like them both equally however 1 has a warranty the decision is easy.
If you like one better than the other, than decide why and decide if that feature is worth a premium.
Give the used seller a chance to lower his price or provide an aftermarket warranty, if they balk the decision is easy once again.
